I finished the autophage story today so received my new staff. Love it and looking forward to putting upgrades in and using it fully.
It's a C class, has anyone found out yet if it's possible to find s class staffs similar to how we find multi -tools?
Mine was created as a B-Class I believe. Suspect system of creation (or even terminal of creation) might decide class, if not just completely random.
It seems like both the class and the color are determined by your location (can vary from one camp to another on the same planet) and the Head you use.
I just upgraded it at the space station to be S-Class
Ah so it can be upgraded, but does that add boosted slots?
Yeah, all staffs have 3 supercharged slots at S-Class I believe.
Yes, S-Class Staffs are obtainable in a similar way to multitools. With Staffs, the Head piece determines class and (for the most part) color. So, if possible, check every different head at every different Autophage Terminal in order to find S-Class Staffs. It should be considerably faster than hunting Multitools.
I've not got round to getting a staff yet, what exactly can you do with it?
I haven't as much as I'd like yet, but from what I've seen so far it's the same as a multi tool. Lasers and fire coming from the end of a staff does look cool!
