I really hope that guy was actually molesting her and didn't just get randomly beat up by a mall Santa before Christmas.

A gentle reminder that pedophile does not equate child molester. The guy of the story is the latter.

Going after all pedophiles is mostly choosing the wrong targets and isolating/scaring people that should rather seek help and support to not offend, i.e. to never engage in anything inappropriate with children.

Also, police is the kind of force equipped to deal with the issue. Report people you find suspicious.

If you are a pedophile, help is available. You are not bad for having your attractions, you never chose them - but you can choose not to hurt kids with your actions, actions that are scientifically proven to be traumatic for children. Come to VirPed, B4U-Act, and other resources to learn more.
