I'm having problems with the sticky residue that trans tape leaves behind. Any tips on getting rid of it?

Don’t go crazy with any chemicals, give some baby oil a shot first

Hello from All. Sorry if I'm intruding on the community. Have you tried acetone (nail polish remover) and/or almond oil?

Is acetone ok to use on skin?

Also from all, but yes. Not daily or your skin will be super dried out.

I'll try that. Thanks.

My boyfriend uses the branded oil Trans Tape sells, but he only uses the tape occasionally, not frequently enough to have residual residue from multiple uses and I'd guess you'd have tried the solution the brand recommends first.

Another friend of mine says they pretty much bathe in oil to remove it.

MtF, so I don't use tape, but coconut oil seems to be a good sticky remover!

If all else fails (alcohol, baby oil), gasoline or goof off. Although gas is obvs real bad for the skin.

I have been rubbing vaseline on the leftover adhesive to get it off. Sometimes I gotta scratch it then leave the lot of it to fall off over the day before showering.
