If they don't use some of that market capital to essentially subsidize the price of their EVs to very competitive prices, they are toast. Their first model has earned a bad reputation, whether it deserves it or not, the damage is done. That 2nd model they plan on releasing better be at least $5k cheaper than competing brands with better specs or they will never gain traction in the US market.

As much as I welcome new EV manufacturers, I am not upset about this. Their mandatory "battery subscription" business model is terrible for consumers, and I hope it dies in the cradle.
