What kind of munition did the FYIP drone use? That looked a bit like a javelin.

The blast pattern makes it look like it may be been more effective if it was detonated perpendicularly. However, as is, it was successful in hitting at least 3 Muscovite which is 2 more than a single drone would, so well done!

Hmmm.... That pattern was unique. I suspect they strapped a claymore to a drone.

Not sure if a whole claymore as that would be heavy, but likely something they developed with similar principles.

@Wilshire@lemmy.world posted another video a couple days ago showing Ukrainian development testing of airburst munitions.

The blast pattern looks similar and you can see the munition is suspended above the water with only a string so it has to be pretty small.

They only weigh 3.5lbs, well with-in the weight limited of of many of the drones.
