I thought nitter was dead?
Some instances are still clinging to life. I wouldn't rely on them but use them while you can.
Thank you!
I got an "instance has been rate limited" error ๐
Try again later. Or try finding some other instance.
Create a general account(you don't have to provide any phone number, only a valid email address) and use Squawker app from fdroid inserting the credentials you created in it.
You can use guerilla mail to create a temporary email address, which you can use to register on twitter.
Sometimes I see the content flash across the screen before the signin popup. Maybe an extension could take advantage of that?
Is there a way to browse the internet without advertising enshitification?
Ever since the 3rd party apps stopped working I've only been using it via browser which is nice as it allows you to block ads.
Twitter didnt force signing in before muskrat owned it, sure they definitely made it annoying but it was possible. Ever since the takeover Ive left and never looked back. Well I actually tried to look at stuff but its now incredibly limited to just viewing individual tweets.
Twitter isnt that important and there are better alternatives being worked on right now that you should give your attention to. Similar to how you came to Lemmy instead of Reddit.
