I find that idea so annoying because its not really an argument and more a stated believe. I don't even want to argue with that.

Why would the idea of protesting by not voting be an “argument”? It’s not meant as an argument. It’s an act of activism.

Consider Michigan, where 97,000 D voters have threatened to not vote as an act of protest. It’s arguable whether Biden really needs those votes, but either way they sent a loud and clear message to Biden that his foreign policy w.r.t Gaza stinks. The pressure seems to actually be influencing Biden, who has evolved to slightly less of a pushover posture. (Although his move to give aid to Palestinians has the nasty side-effect of actually relieving Israel of their humanitarian duty to do the same).. Anyway, don’t want to stray from the topic, which is that the act of protest can have effects.
