The documents record hundreds of incidents ranging from the alleged blindfolding and beating of UN staff at checkpoints to the use of UN facilities by Israeli troops as firing positions during raids on refugee camps in which Palestinians were killed.

A spokesperson for the IDF said they had “no issues with Unrwa in the West Bank”, adding: “We are not trying to harass them. There is nothing we intentionally do to disturb their important work. We are unable to verify these claims and we have not been presented with evidence [for them]. We have a good relationship with Unrwa and other organisations in the West Bank.”

Throwing the obvious lie at the end so everyone knows it was all bullshit...

Wasn't it just a couple days ago the IDF was calling UNRWA a front for Hamas?

Now they're saying the have a good relationship with UNRWA despite that and UNRWA's allegations against Israel?

It's like when Trump says he loves minorities

To be fair Netanyahu does have a good relationship with hammas…. In that he funds them and as long as the war continues he can stay in power and avoid his ongoing trials for fraud and corruption.

Yep Israel even got "Hamas" UNRWA employees fired, and all without a shred of proof. The UNRWA chief has said as much.

Right-wing authoritarians always have a very tenuous connection with reality, and nothing they say can ever be trusted – they will lie every time it suits them. You can see this in eg. the sort of ridiculous lies conservatives spread about LGBT+ folks.

Turns out, you actually can say whatever the fuck you want. Even in modern day when digital eyes are every where. It doesn't matter. Some people will still buy this. It obviously has some effect, as the might of the UN has somehow not been dropped on Israel. AND My tax money is STILL being spent on Palestinian deaths.
