EV battery to Powerstation (econtroldevices.com)

Hi,

I have a 20Ah 48v EV Lipo battery that I would like to use as a Powerstation. It uses a 2 pin + 4 data connector as seen in the link. Is that possible? What other hardware would be needed? Discharge controller/Voltage converter?
