We are getting there.
Nevertheless, I will keep my expectation in check, as to see if companies will keep up will the spirit of the law and/or the state will be serious in enforcement it.
I have a feeling they’ll find a way to make it only applicable in that state. Sometime a special resialization deactivation upon request after proof of residency in Oregon with multiple steps to go through and need to re-activate periodically or something so annoying it won’t be worth it or realistically usable.
Yeah, kinda like Apple allowing alternative browsers on their platform... but only in the EU.
So just hardware Checking hardware then. Ok .....
