Can't watch the video now. Is it good? At this point I'm just hoping for a card with better value in terms of cost / performance compared to last gen.

MODERATORS
6800xt is still the better card to get for value and performance. It's sad that both nvidia and amd just renamed lower tier cards into higher tiers this generation to make up for lost crypto revenue.
7800xt is better from the new gen, it's around the same as 6800xt so whichever is cheaper for you
7700xt will drop in price quickly, don't buy it until it hits $400 or even lower
