Anyone else notice that lemmy.world federation seems to be broken? All my communities with them (and probably more instances) appear to be devoid of activity.

Federation with lemmy.world had been an ongoing problem, I believe for most other instances. Not sure if it's a symptom of them being too dang big, which I gather is kind-of antithetical to the point of federation.

Oh, no, not really. It's been stuck like this. The federation with lemmy.world does work, but there's a 2-3 hour delay from lemmy.world to lemmy.sdf.org.

They might be using IPoAC for last mile ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯
