The advantage with Lemmy is if you don't like the rules of one server you can jump to another server and still access content. Where if you don't like Reddit rules for content where do you go?

Can you give us an example? because i find the opposite to be true. Here on lemmy you’ll just get downvoted, mostly. On reddit you’d catch a ban if the mod doesn’t like what you say.

I can see the post and the comments. That's quite the censorship

.ml is notorious for heavy handed modding. Join world or one of the smaller instances like shitjustworks and then block the .ml instance and you'll be much happier and less frustrated.

I mean you’re posting this on .ml

Nah reddit has WAY more censorship it's just you don't see it because their mod logs are private. Not sure if Undelete is still around but you can see what a thread looks like with deleted comments in-line and sometimes it's like 90% of the thread is just red comments. That's not even counting self-censorship people do when they're on their second chance or just not wanting to tank their score with downvotes.

That being said you have sh.itholes like NonCredibleDefence and most of Lemmy World where they'll just outright permban you if you contradict their narrative. While a minority, that's going to be a big part of your impression of the federation if you get caught up in that.

On Reddit I had multiple comments banned and was in multiple (on topic) threads that got locked. Never said anything discriminatory or violent. On Lemmy nope.

Counterpoint: your account is only a month old and you’ve already proven to be a pain the the mods’ asses by failing to follow rules : https://lemm.ee/modlog?page=1&userId=10152004
