Perhaps it is meant to be ironic. A homeless man who lives off of a bicycle yet loves his country. The american dream.

 

Whether consciously or subconsciously instigated. By ordinary citizens, authority figures, shop workers, bus drivers, or really anyone for that matter

 

Both men and women. Is it to do with the way they smile/pose for the camera or something? Seriously, I can almost tell someone is American by the way their neck looks in a photo

 

For example: someone intentionally misspeaks, pretending as if it was an error or Freudian slip, in order to subtley communicate their true intentions

 

Perhaps this is a cultural thing, but doublespeak seems to be prevalent even in casual conversation

I propose a challenge:
