I think Lemmy is a good foothold for activitypub. Reddit has been going to shit for some time and their userbase is tech savvy enough to actually migrate to something like Lemmy in significant enough numbers for it to matter.
I can only hope it continues to grow like this
A lot of the democratic party does, yeah. Specifically the president. If there are Palestine supporters in the US tho they tend to be democrat or independent. I wouldn't go as far as saying most dems support Israel.
