Hello everyone,

This community has been created a few days ago, and as it is usually good practice, we would like to have a few more mods onboard! (I will probably step down myself once we have found the mods, I already have too much communities for my taste)

Being a mod mostly involves

  • Managing reports for comments and posts breaking the rules (e.g. spam or insults)
  • Keeping the community active, for instance by managing regular discussions threads, or posting to the community

If you are interested, feel free to say so in the comments!

I think you could still be a mod, even if the reports don't federate (I think I only got a few when the community started). It's mostly to have someone else in case I go away for some time.

Would you be okay?

(As a side note, are you European? Not critical, but just curious)

I noticed I have been the only mod here, which is usually bad practice. Anyone wanting to join me?

The community is quite laid back, so usually not a lot of work to do. Modlog is public so power tripping is usually quite obvious.

It’s better if you are a regular commenter here, but that’s about it. I would also prefer Europeans, as it's the topic of the community.

Looking for new mods as it is usually bad practice to only have one.

People are usually pretty chill so very low level of work is expected.

Hello,

I enjoy this instance a lot, thank you so much for this. However, I noticed it is quite slower than other instances I'm used to. I had a look at that ping tool, and it seems that the ping to Spain is unusually high compared to the rest of Europe: https://check-host.net/check-ping?host=lemm.ee

Is there anything you could do to improve this? Thank you so much!
