Could you elaborate? I assume manning is Chelsea? I hadn't heard anything about Vice regarding it.

Now we're accusing people of being shills for posting relevant responses? Lemmy really is turning into Reddit
Who else is here in 2023? ✌️
In addition to Jones and Virgil as others have said we have Maine Root, Sprechers, Dublin and others. Most grocery stores in the US at least will have a small section of various root beers and other craft sodas. Stores like whole foods or other fancy type places will usually have more of a selection. World market has a ton as well I believe.
For anyone keeping count, I've switched to my lemmy.world account (which has defederated from Hexbear) and the comments on this thread are at 209. When I logged out of my Lemm.ee account there were over 800, so that means roughly 600 of the comments on a meta thread for the lemme.ee instance are from Hexbear users, or in threads started by them.
Edited to remove some slightly frustrated and possibly less than civil comments.
Yes! Also being able to read/explore while doing other tasks like in a work meeting or on a discord call. It doesn't require you to devote 100% of your attention.
Agreed, it's sad to see.
I've been a user of sync for idk how long.
LJ is a one man shop and he pounded this out over the course of what? A month? Dude has every right to charge what he feels is right for the software.
Honestly at this point there's no guarantee that lemmy is going to stick around very long, we're already seeing big communities shut down and splinter. I say strike while the iron is hot and get yours.
I'll admit I was a little shocked when I saw the pricing, and I will probably need to wait a week or two until I'm on a non-mortgage-paycheck to buy it, but I plan on grabbing pro to support him.
I used Sync for reddit for close to 10 years for like $5 I can afford to give back a bit.
Edit to add another thought: Sync is probably my most used app ever on my phone. I pay $15 or whatever per month for various streaming services, Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max etc.. and I probably spend more time on Sync than any of those.
I've paid $50-60 for games I've put less than 20 hours into playing.
Question, how does one of those end? Curious about the second one in particular. Did you break up with your primary partner then leave? Did the couples vote you off the island? Just curious
No they're just idiots
