Provided this is not a joke, have you considered that this might be a coping mechanism? Almost the same way that people cutting themselves is a way of coping with stress or depression.

I would recommend talking to your GP or a psychologist.

Man. That is a fair and well thought over response.

I appreciate this! Articles like this is what I'm on lemmy for!

Because calling your post a response would not do it justice enough. An article indeed.

Dude, it's users like you (who provide content) to the platform who we need to thank for supporting the platform.

The fact that someone does not understand the karma scoring should not discourage you.

Welcome!

This article was undoubtedly sponsored by Shell...

Ev's get more and more range, they drive considerably better than the biggest gas guzzler and YES even if you take the lithium into account AND the production, they have considerable less emissions than the traditional car.

Now move on.

I'd be surprised if her IQ is higher than my shoe size.

Not sure about the percentage for NL but I'm proud (for once) of my (and your) government. This will be huge.

Voyager is my daily driver sofar. ~The only thing that bothers me is that blocking a community is quite the number of clicks away. ~

~When scrolling through "all" and seeing some community I am not interested in, i'd have to click the community name, see all the posts (which I am almost certain they will not interest me as they are a part of the community I want to block) then open the menu, click "block" then "community". And then retrace my steps back.~

~Subscribing is the same.~

Or is there a better way?

Got the tip of long-pressing the community name and then selecting "block community".

As there might be other pearls of uses to be found in Voyager, please post your tip below!

She was removed from her classroom in March after a parent complained she’d read “My Shadow is Purple” to her class, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center, which represents her.

Edit: ~Ratting on the teacher and then hiding behind some law firm. Nicely done bigots, nicely done.~

And I agree that that age is the age to start simple education on topics like this.

I cannot fathom why some parents think "lets not educate them and then abolish abortion".

Shame on them.

Exactly for that reason I have created a second account on lemm.ee.

There is even a nice Python script to propagate your subscriptions and block lists to one or more other accounts.
