Closing loopholes is worthwhile, even if they're not being abused yet. You say "if you see this happening, then you'll have to vote", but that thing that may happen is people being denied the right to vote. So if this starts to happen, it may be impossible to undo with voting.

This can only read as hypocrisy when you portray "everyone who plays video games" as a single character

Lettuce grows in a bundle of very tightly packed leaves. At no part in the growing - transport - shelving - selling chain can anyone be expected to thoroughly wash between the leaves, especially near the root. Rinse your veggies before using.

Try not to accidentally become a competent process engineer

On that note, try adding a little splash of balsamic vinegar to caramelized onions 👌👌

I agree, but the comment above recommends using it to caramelize onions. Maillard reactions can happen to onions for sure but the result of that is not caramelized onions.

Not to say baking soda couldn't help, I don't know the exact chemistry behind this stuff, but I do know that onion + maillard reaction does not yield caramelized onions

Maillard browning is not caramelization. Maillard is an insanely complex mess of different chemical reactions involving proteins, while caramelization is just sugar and heat.

I think corvids are poised to become a fine replacement

I usually get these little dudes in the summer. I let them be when I can stomach it, but I have this one lamp at my desk pointed up at the wall to give me some indirect light. Occasionally a house centipede will crawl along in front of the light and cast a really long shadow to freak me the hell out.
