In 1960, minimum wage was $1.00/hour and the average home was $11,000.00 In 1968, when Richard Nixon took office, 'middle class' meant one Union job supporting a family of four. By the time Bush Se. left office in 1992 "middle class" was two college jobs to support the household.

If you were born in 1970 you could have been a full time nurse or big city fire fighter by 1990, and been retired with a 30 year pension. That would have been enough to pay for two 'minimum wage' plus raise your family with things like optical and dental care.
By your words you failed your own family, failed to help more than a tiny handful of children, and are currently useless to any potential grandchildren except as a horrible example of arrogance and failure.
