And that's a big part of why, despite everything Biden is doing, I am 100% voting for him. Because if Biden wins, there will be a 2028 election where we can hopefully find someone better, and I'm not convinced that there will be under Trump.

Four years of Trump came really close to turning this country into a kakistocratic dictatorship. I really don't want to give him another chance.

And you think that would be different under Trump?

Trump and Bibi are besties. There wouldn't even be the token resistance Biden puts up; he'd hand Israel enough weapons to turn Gaza into a glass parking lot, and probably would have done the same to Columbia by now.

The thing about it is, Biden can be pressured to, eventually, take steps towards the right thing. Trump cannot; he already sees everyone but himself and his bootlickers as subhuman anyway.

If my life has taught me anything, it's that the rules no longer apply to you when you're rich.

And if the last few months have taught me anything, it's that the greatest crime any American can commit is criticizing Israel about anything ever.

I mean, clearly she did her research for that movie.

Oh no!

Anyway...

What do you think they are? Teslas?

Or like they do with right wing thugs, like the ones that attacked protestors at UCLA.

You're not defending Jews, you're defending Israel. More specifically, you're defending Israel's genocide of the Palestinian people. And you're using ableist slurs to do it, so nice job.

You're not helping your case that you're not a Nazi with that one, you know.

I'm not sure we read the same article. The one I read pointed out that many of his criticisms are indeed legitimate, but it's his framing of them that furthers the cause of antisemitism, pointing out that he frames the criticisms as an issue of Christians vs. Jews rather than Palestinians vs. Israelis.

Hey, trust me, I know how this shit goes. I'm in Kansas.

California has been trying to build a bullet train from LA to SF for decades. Would love to see them get some help with it.

I know it's not Moldy Monday, but I figured y'all would appreciate this 110 year old cartoon anyway.

"Commander, I always used to consider that you had a definite anti-authoritarian streak in you.”

“Sir?”

“It seems that you have managed to retain this even though you are authority.”

“Sir?”

“That’s practically zen."

I swear, these are the best worst ads I've ever seen

Tweet text:

Around 2003 in Chile, when the original trilogy of Star Wars began airing on television there, they did this funny thing to avoid cutting to commercial breaks. They stitched the commercials into the films themselves. Here is one of them, with the English dub added in.

Edit: Yes, it's real, and it's spectacular.
