You sound like a pleasant chap to be around...

I would love an iPad Mini running android. Theres basically no high end android tablet in that size factor, but I won't use fucking IOS just to get my favo form factor. iOS is so neutered and unpractical in comparison to android. It's so weird that iOS became so popular to me... It's still stuck 10y ago in like 90% of its os design ideas.

Nobody says huitante in Belgium.

It's 60, 70, 4*20, 90.

edit: Downvote all you want. If you say huitante in Belgium, everyone will know you're not from Belgium.

Belgians say Soixante, Septante, Quatre-vingt, Nonante. Even in the dutch language part, that's how they learn french.

If you say Soixante-dix or Quatre-vingt-dix, everyone will know you're french and not Belgian. Pretty simple...

I mean, I can guarantee that every single mammal on earth alive today will be dead in 250 years. Nice prediction.

If you mean humanity: humans will 100% still be around in 250 years. Even with an advanced society. As advanced and interconnected as now? Who knows. But we'll still be far ahead of eg the middle ages or even early industrial revolution.

Do you have any proof of that?

Afaik in many European countries with legalized prostitution (eg Holland, Belgium,....) there is certainly no increase in illegal prostitution. But please, prove me wrong.

All research also indicates legalization upsides far outweigh the downsides.

No, sex work should be legalized and become a protected trade, just like other work. Only by legalizing it can you get rid of a large chunk of the shady part of it. (never all of it, but legalized sex work is 100% better than Grey zone sex work like it is now in so many places...)

Then why, in an initial statement, did the gymnastics federation claim it was not racism but an issue between the judge and the family directly. That doesn't indicate it was an honest mistake. Also, if it was an honest mistake, she would have gone back a few min later to give her the medal and apologize. The kid only got her medal x days later.

I've gotten some good book recommendations through tiktok. But at the same time, the average tiktok video gives me like 3-5 recommendations. I see multiple of these videos every day. My to read list basically requires me stop working and live until my mid 250s to read everything....

Fair enough. Most articles are still about the original article, but it does seem the bcc (or at least the dinosaurs in control) has its own (shitty) trans agenda... .

Thanks for not attacking me, but giving actual info. Appreciate it.

I'll certainly be more wary about the bbc in the future.

OK, that's one really article that was in bad faith, but I would argue the topic has journalistic value. But it should have been more nuanced.

Does that make the entire bbc transphobic? I am in full support of trans rights (I have a gender fluid child), but not everything is 100% black and white (cfr gender ;)) , one bad article doesn't make the entire bbc transphobic.
