Warning, incoming rant. Spoiler tags not working

Itss regarding the

spoilernow sentient subordinate functions, and more importantly, how Aloy treated them.

In Zero Dawn

spoilerDemitri, the one incharge of plant life, scattered metal flowers about in the first game, with bits of poetry his creator loved. He also had flowers growing around Elizabeth Sobeck's body in the ending cutscene.

Then theres CYAN and her whole saga in Frozen Wilds. Aloy really seemed to get along with her.

And yet, in the first half of Forbidden Quest

spoilerAloy has no qualms about killing the subfunctiond and restoring them to base code for the new Gaia.

Minerva was damn scared, hiding in the Base the whole time, all the while sending an encrypted signal saying 'Here I am'.

Aether (weather control) didnt do anything wrong at all, just kept trying to do his duty, even as the errors kept mounting and the storms increasing.

Thats as far as I managed to get before shutting the game down. Will prob uninstall too. Even if the game has well established that Aloy is getting desperate to restore

spoilerGAIA
, this seems way out of character.

I havent played in over a year. Stopped right after ShB.

Here is what I understood:

  1. Resurrected into Bad: You were revived in front of the tank or just as an AoE started.

  2. Same Brain as another player during spread: Some boss mechanics require everyone to spread apart for minimal damage. Dogpilling means all players get their damage + their neighbours.

  3. Got Hysteria and Ran into Death: ?

  4. Oops: Some Classes like Dragoon, Red Mage and Reaper have movement button that makes you jump back. Unfortunately, the camera angle means you cant see where you land :p

  5. Gap closed off the platform: Same as above, but forward. Distance can be hard to judge :(eg Red Mage, Reaper)

  6. WRONG BUTTON: Need I say anything?

  7. Walked off the Edge of arena: Self Explanatory.

  8. Item Level too low: Item is the over Power Level of an item. How strong it is. Upto char lvl50 equipment level (ie when you can equip it) = item level. But past that a large gap starts forming. By equipment lvl80, item level goes 600+.

  9. Grabbed By a toad etc. The optional Aurum Vale dungeon. The first true test of a Healer.

  10. Hit by Square Enix Building: ????

  11. Oh, that was an A rank. Some mini boss mobs roam around the overworld (ie the open world we travel). They have ranks. They can kill in one hit, and are meant for groups (unless your overpowered, though some like Odin and Ixiom STILL need groups)

  12. Gaze: Brain derp. Im honestly forgetting how this one can kill.

  13. Stood in the Bad: Duh

  14. Rescued to Death. All healers have Rescue action to drag players TO them. Healers stand in bad, or bad in between them and player. Need I go on?

  15. Tankbuster time: Massive boss attack that only tanks should eat. If tank doesnt have agro.......

  16. Dogpilled and..... Play PvP. Its fun. I promise :)

  17. Not Sneaky enough.... Eureka zone diff and far more punishing rules than normal gameplay. You die if aggroed by too many/ too powerful mobs. And you lose XP if you die, which makes you lose levels.

  18. Witchdrop: ?

  19. Didnt know: Some bosses knock you back at certain attacks. Hug them :3

  20. Thought Tower Mech was the Bad. Some boss mechs require you to stand in a particular position, or die/get damaged. Not run away from them.

  21. Unexpected Mimic +....: Dunno. Ither than the fact that its from areas like Heaven on High.

  22. Gap Closed into AoE. Superset of the Oops tile. Basically using any movement action to end up in AoE.

  23. The dreaded Disconnected icon..... Your char is still in the 'game' if you DC. If your lucky with squddies, you might still be alive if you return fast enough.

  24. Thought Bad was the Tower Mech. Opposite of 21.

Can you name the primary needs mod please?

I tried the game at my friends place day 1; the main put offs were bugs and lack of immersion.

Aye, as @forensic_potato said. And they have really good free options too, that are actually improved upon feature wise (only usage is limited)

Gonna pay once I can actually afford it.

Ive had a look at the supposed Day 1 DLC. Its mainly cosmetics and crossover items from Divinity Original Sin 2.

From the steam page: "All as awesome as they are wholly unnecessary."

True, but it got people (eg me) started on actually looking for alternatives.

Not being very tech savvy, the reddit summaries post backout helped alot too.
