You can take action without revealing your sources. Journalists and police officers do it every day. Politicians and businesses do it all the time. Yet the all powerful Catholic Church did nothing.

They don’t pay taxes to the city of Rome either, despite using our services and infrastructures: they use Rome’s sewage system but don’t pay for it, they use Rome’s garbage collection system but don’t pay for it - we are talking about private homes, not just churches. They don’t pay for the police service, streets maintenance and so on. The Vatican is s literal parasite of the city of Rome and the Italian nation as a whole. They are not an independent state, they depend on us for everything, hence they should pay taxes for the social services they use.

I’m from Italy and several of my friends are teachers: parents nowadays are so abusive towards teachers, they will blame the teachers for their lazy child’s low grades. It’s the teacher’s fault if the child fails tests, or if is unruly and gets reprimanded. Parents never blame their lazy, videogames-playing, social media-browsing kid for failing tests, nor they take responsibility for not ensuring they do their homework. They wait for the teachers outside the school to attack them, they criticise them with the other parents, they complain with the principal, they even move kids to other schools (where the cycle starts over)… everything but owing that their child just doesn’t study enough. Fanatical parents are a real issue

If the only reason you don’t harm others is so that you’ll get a place in paradise, you are not a moral or ethical person, you are a an egotistical hypocrite and a fake “good person”. Non-religious people who don’t harm others simply because they respect them and just don’t want to harm them, are the truly moral ones.

Looks more like a peacemaker ❤️
