As much as I support the action against Reddit, I don't blame people for staying there. It's a better platform. Lemmy is still pretty cumbersome to use in comparison.

The main problem with Blooming builds (aside from the fire hazard) is the grass fist in the Yog fight. The blooming enchant reduces your damage against it to the point where you basically can't use it at all.

Alternatively, Horn of Plenty with Warrior's meal talents. Free invincibility on-demand. Very handy against evil eyes.

The best thing about Fireblast and Lightning wands is that they do insane amounts of damage. The problem is that they do insane amounts of damage.

IMO it's almost never worth it to spend a potion to douse flames anyway.

Replace SoU with heal potions and I'd agree with you. But if you need to overspend SoU to survive the early game, then it was a doomed run anyway.

The Dwarven City and Demon Halls are balanced with the expectation that you'll have heavily upgraded high-tier gear. Sewers and Prison are not. Generally I try to spend no more than 1 scroll per region on low- or mid-tier gear, and save the other 2 for my endgame gear.

The accuracy penalty isn't that bad? You and I have very different opinions on accuracy, then.

My favorite weapon is War Hammer because I hate missing. No frills, no gimmicks, just an honest weapon that doesn't let you down.
