If you ever want to feel disgusted head over to Google Earth and check out Midland, Texas. Every square you see is an oil pad.

I finished A Farewell to Arms a few years back and I'm still hesitant to read anything by Hemingway.

Http requests for HipCamp.com kept timing out and led me to discover they're being sent from Charter to AWS in Ashburn (Amazon) where they vanish. Nobody at either company knows who to contact to fix in c/techsupport@lemmy.world

I realize this is several hops removed from you but does this still happen after you flush dns or use a dns server other than your ISP's?
