Feels a bit overly-complicated, but I'm willing to give it a chance
I'm not sure why they decided to make an anime to cater to me specifically, but I'm down for it
Probably a good thing considering what a disaster IndyCar starts and restarts tend to be in general.
...Is the "everything app" actually going to become a thing?
I'm hoping iRacing's NASCAR game manages to actually be good, and if it is, hopefully they can grab the Indycar license.
I'd consider "A Certain Scientific Railgun" sci-fi-ish; it was my first real entry into anime and is still one of my favorite anime ever.
I go back to Three Leaves, Three Colors a lot; a very vanilla moe slice of life, but sometimes that's all you need.
That's a pretty good way of doing it, at least.
It'd be nice if they were transparent enough to say specifically which areas they're pulling out of, but I guess transparency has never been the Sentai way of doing things.
Hanebado; I was expecting a cool sports anime and all I got was the most obnoxious and unlikeable protagonist in all of anime.
The Indycar article doesn't definitively say, but full-time seems like a good guess.
It's a bit of a shame. I'd love to root for JHR as a David fighting against the Goliaths that are the other big IndyCar teams, but they make it really hard to like them sometimes, particularly over the past two seasons.
