Honestly Lakers is such a joke franchise. I hope they never make the finals for the next 50 years

They run the site for free and there's basically no adds. You expect them to afford capabilities for 100s of people doing 30-40 rom downloads at once?

I remember in high school when I set up my environment up similar to this with the cube workspace. Now I just think it's more inconvenient then instantly hotkeying to a specific workspace

It's all the former reddit users. That place breeds "intellectuals" who try to one-up everyone and prove they're smarter. If things don't fit in with their paradigm or echo chamber they down vote.

Did I confuse your algorithm, Mr. RoBOTo?

I've been ricing my desktop slowly over the years (don't have a lot of time). I've gotten it somewhat down to what I like. I use Archlinux with Open box, polybar, and rofi. I don't use a desktop environment. My question is what are my options for ricing default applications like dolphin or similar apps with default gui's (xsensors) without using a packaged desktop environment. I believe my default theme and icons are Adwaita (GTK-3)

I want to know your opinions on the best distro that is convenient for laptops. Main reason is I want to really optimize hardware performance and more specifically battery life for my University classes. I also want to try a tiling manager as they seem perfect for laptops.

Things of note:

  • Convenience/Performance is key
  • My laptop is a Thinkpad E15 w/ 16 gb ram
  • On my home desktop I run Archlinux w/ Open box & no DE (I've been using Arch for years but haven't used another distro since Ubuntu in highschool)
  • I will likely dual boot with Windows 10 for Office
  • I want to run a tiling manager
  • I don't video game
  • I wont be using a mouse
  • I don't necessarily want to use Arch, want to try something new that I don't have to rely on AUR updates for certain software
