Children of Time sort of fits in. Also if you liked the Ender's Game sequels and how he handled how aliens can truly be alien and the difficulty of aliens to communicate to each other you'll most likely like the whole series by Adrian Tchaikovksy, and most likely some of his other sci-fi books.

In before people start throwing Lin distros at you... Also the best Linux distro is Arch.
I was curious so looked it up, human breast milk is about 7% lactose, where cow milk is 5%. Now I'm going to file that under the "useless knowledge that will only come up in conversation to make me look like a creep" brain file.
