Christian Linder, leader of the libertarian party FDP and Minister of Finances in the currently ruling coalition

Do you mean the stoned ape theory? Never have seen it interpreted in that way, but it's weirdly comforting and I kinda want to believe it now. Makes humanity feel less lost when there could be some fungi buddies looking after us, secretly manipulating us into becoming better beings.

Almost correct, but artistic depictions of Nazi iconography actually are exempt from the ban (falling under "Kunstfreiheit" - artistic freedom).

The reason why Wolfenstein still had to be censored was because video games were not really seen as a form of art for quite a long time. But AFAIK that has fortunately changed in the last years and you can now legally obtain uncensored Wolfenstein versions in Germany.

Are you by any chance from Korea? Cause that hysteria about "fan death" seems to be a prevailing urban myth around there:

But apart from people with dust mite allergies and the like, where air circulation can increase the allergen content of the air, sleeping with an fan on does not come with any health risks whatsoever:

What? Why on earth should that be unhealthy?

Thank you! They get trashed on all occasions here in the fediverse and I get the animosity since every corp and their mother now wants to ride the hype train. But I've kinda changed my mind about AI since having been recommended two AI tools that actually cite sources for their answers (Elicit and Perplexity). They're an absolute godsend for the literature search on my Bachelor's Thesis

They can absolutely be useful tools if you use them right. They're just quite overhyped at the moment.

Lmao how on earth is this dangerous? Or does this classify as 'mixing uppers and downers' for you? Because it definitely isn't, melatonin is barely more psychoactive than a sugar pill

"good" lmao

Can attest that it works great, except for the dogshit sleep quality, like with almost every sleep aid known to man. (except for GHB and Pregabalin, but these have their own issues)

Lol alright Mr Freud, and right wingers are born out of a lack of unconditional motherly love, or what?

Very well put, thank you
