technisch gesehen läuft Untergang aber gar nicht auf den Darmbakterien. Die Darmbakterien dienen nur als Anzeige.
Ramlan weist selbst darauf hin, dass Doom damit eigentlich nicht auf den Bakterien läuft, sondern eben nur von ihnen dargestellt wird. Allerdings gilt im Rahmen von "Doom runs on everything" meist wirklich die Darstellung des Spiels als ausreichend.
Das kann ich so nicht unterschreiben, die Darstellung alleine reicht m.E. nicht aus. Dass das Spiel nicht spielbar sein muss (weil eventuell keine Eingabemöglichkeiten vorhanden sind oder Bildwiederholungsrate nicht in "Rahmen pro Sekunde" sondern "Minuten pro Rahmen" gemessen wird lasse ich mir noch angehen, aber die reine Darstellung von Bildschirmabschüssen wird der Aussage "Untergang rennt auf Alles" nicht gerecht.
