It's actually such a great policy. There is no more economically efficient way to reduce CO2 emissions. We can argue how high the carbon tax should be, but we should not be arguing about whether we should have it.

Not necessarily true. In Canada the Conservative party led the way on conservation of the Commons before the green party even existed. Not anymore, obviously, but in the past, yes.

They were NIMBYs with farms, essentially.

My parents tried to get me to gain weight my entire life. It led to a pretty bad diet by the time I was living on my own and I only ever gained weight when I ate chicken burgers from meal hall literally every day.

Don't focus on weight, just make sure he is healthy. It can lead to poor choices and insecurities down the road.

Just go for volume. Listen to a lot of stuff at full speed and eventually it will start making sense.
