I posted a picture of my Inceptor squad before the previous instance I was on went down...guess its time to post another picture after joining a new one!
I never really sat down to listen to this album start to finish, only random songs before... but having done so now I truly get a sense of why other rappers have taken inspiration, cues or straight up referenced his style in their own productions.
Personally, when the lyrics cause the listener to reflect on themselves or the world around them it takes the song to another level. I don't mean in a deep philosophical way but even if it makes you go "yea something about that clicks with me", it's like having a conversation with the music yknow?
And this album does that for me, real pleasurable experience.
Raven Guard: my head canon is the chapter needs to venture out from Deliverance to find Corax, due to further issues with geneseed that has limited their resources.
As a result Shrike has assembled a special company under his direct command comprising of several specialist units from the 10 companies of the chapter. Deployment varies depending on the situation, could just be a small taskforce for covert ops, or combination of units for more complex missions. They are not always comprised of the elite of the Raven Guard, but are most certainly the optimum combination for the objectives at hand.
