This is to be expected though. When a product is massively successful, a lot of companies will rip it off and create knock offs to generate some income. I'd love to see competition from some real competitors though. For now, the steam deck is unmatched

This is when you get off social media and live life with your family. It's so easy to fall into that mindset when you're going to areas where people crowd together since it ends up with large scope views and ideas.

This is unfortunately part of migrating. Not all communities can just move over. Larger ones will develop and with that side communities will start with a large enough user base. Reposting in this case still doesn't do anything other than give you the exact same content as Reddit just now it's without an interactive user base.

Reddit will still have higher search hits and Lemmy is outmatched. Dumping content from Reddit just makes this no better than a mirror. It stops real and unique content from hitting the top and this place won't attract new users if they can just use Reddit which at this point has the content directly and is more reliable.

Right. Everything negative about Lemmy is being turned into a positive for some reason. Truth is this is still a difficult concept for a lot of people to get on board with and the overall reliability of instances leaves much to be desired. All we need to do is continue to contribute and see what takes off.

Very excited! I'm hoping they speed the gameplay up by a lot though. KF/KF2 did not age the best because of how sluggish they feel after the sudden speed up a lot of modern shooters have had. If they learn from a lot of other shooters/rogue likes of today then this game is going to be amazing.

That's why, if you or someone you know doesn't make enough, you get a used car. Brand new cars are such a waste of money. With that being said, prices across almost everything today is still fucked in the US with housing definitely being the worst offender.

Considering the website is this really a big surprise? OEM radios are crap so car play and Android auto will always be the clear favorite and a website like that most likely has Android users as the primary user base. Both are solid and leagues better than what car manufacturers provide!

This was much better than the original haunted mansion. I was surprised it was actually as funny and charming as it was. The cast they chose was great and I was also surprised to see some of the audience members actually jump a little from some of the jump scares in the film. The movie did drag on a bit though as Disney tried to throw in their signature touch of making things overly emotional and squeezing a tear from the audience. Unfortunately, it completely missed and it especially missed in my showing since there was someone loudly snoring throughout the "sad" part of the film which was cracking everyone up in the audience. Older man took his grandkids and needed some rest. It's not a must see, but if you're a fan of any of the actors, the ride, or Disney in general it's worth a watch.

One of the freshest stories with the Turtles that I've seen in a long time. The way they wrote these characters was great with an absolute huge amount of potential for the future. They could go in any directions with this as a franchise and, with how beautiful the art style is, I'm all for it. I was impressed to see the talent casted for the film as well. If you're interested in this then do yourself a favor and watch it in theaters so you can really appreciate the art.
