It’s still better than nothing. Look at Microsoft, announcing layoffs and 1 week later pledges about 1 billion into AI development. That’s shitty

This is good news! While all the tech companies in the west are laying off, they chose to retain their employees by increasing their wages. Good on them 👏

Can’t we just use ad-blocks to make it as-free? 😂

I believe there’ll be an option for you to change the layout

Exactly! It’s like those YouTube channels who posts clips of a movie but never share which movie it’s from. It’s so frustrating

This is because many rich entities are evil and greedy which makes it very easy for them to manipulate other companies to the point of them not following their mottos. What we need to let them know is that they are only as powerful as the user base. Once we all leave the platform, they’ll know to not mess with us

But threads is in the fediverse

People should stop using Reddit. Migrate to Lemmy or Kbin and show spez that he’s not as powerful as he think he is

I never understood why people prefer threads over Mastodon or Lemmy. Their app bundle size is so much smaller. 250mb for an app that does similar to what Mastodon and Lemmy is doing is ridiculous

If you post on Threads, will it also appear on Lemmy since they both uses ActivityPub protocol?
