New York CNN — Elon Musk says he may restore conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’ account on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, pending the results of an unscientific poll of his followers.

Seems odd that Elon is considering this so soon after Tucker's interview with Alex. They're all shit heads, so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised.

You mean he's saying he'll do the thing the right keeps saying Biden is doing???

Sandy Hook families who won nearly $1.5 billion in legal judgments against conspiracy theorist Alex Jones for calling the 2012 Connecticut school shooting a hoax have offered to settle that debt for only pennies on the dollar — at least $85 million over 10 years.

Both will come after infrastructure week

Do it. I cancelled 2 weeks ago and haven't looked back. Netflix is filled with self referential, formulaic films, shows that had a good season 1 but got axed, and shows that sucked but somehow got the engagement metrics up enough to stick around. Occasionally there's a show that's good and stocks around, but ends up a stinker as the seasons progress.

The only thing I miss is Korean dramas, but there's Viki for that.

The other side of the argument is that McCarthy is the GOP’s greatest fundraiser, and getting rid of him would help Democrats take back the House. No replacement for McCarthy would have the same set of relationships and the donor network and political operation. In addition, the argument goes, the GOP chaos in the House would pay political dividends.

Removing the lead money maker might be a sound decision. If the Republicans put some cretin like Gaetz in, the money might dry up.

Both Republicans likely need the support of Democrats to prevail in their battle over the speakership. Here’s how that could shake out.

We'd change it if we could.
