Sure, keep pushing Russia together with Iran, Syria, DPRK, Cuba and to a lesser degree, China. I’m sure this can’t possibly blow up in the faces of Washington.

I mean, sure, that’s great news in a bubble. But the guy spent a good deal of his adult life running like a dog for committing no crime (in his country), this whole ordeal was a warning against further whistleblowers.

It’s funny because they act like the revolution is the unrealistic option.

We love Jewish people, Marx and Trotsky (say what you want about his rivalry with Stalin, he was a hero early on) were Jewish and many many outstanding comrades that are less known put their brains, bodies and financial security at stake for the fundamental truth that humans are all equal. Period.

Zionists go against these ideas, I’d love you to stay as a Jewish person… just cut that Zionist shit out.

The problem with the modern US government is so many Americans after the 80s and especially after the USSR’s illegal dissolution ACTUALLY LEGITIMATELY FUCKING BELIEVE the neoliberal propaganda. Cuba is a relatively small island with sugar, coffee and tobacco being its greatest natural resources… great for enjoyment not so much for global geopolitical control.

Russia, on the other hand, is the largest nation on earth by landmass rich in iron, natural gas, oil, etc etc etc. cutting it off (especially given that their also cut off nations of Iran and the DPRK are right next to them) is absolutely pointless. All it will do is force Russia into cutting itself off from the West it desperately tried to connect with after 1991. Don’t interrupt an enemy making a mistake, but FFS, they’re clearly fucking themselves over. Especially since all it does is make BRICS+ stronger.

  1. The Georgian Dream Party fucking sucks.
  2. But any loss on the US’s imperialist machine is a good one.

I’m a sinoboo but I’m willing to play Devil’s Advocate:

1 Urban versus rural divide is still harsh. The big cities look like they live in the future but a great deal of the nation still lives in underdeveloped areas in the countryside.

2 While a lot better than it used to be, air pollution can still be rather bad.

3 Population growth is still too low.

4 Too much of the new national wealth is tied up in real estate (which is a shitty industry for the health of a nation).

5 While it’s to prevent CIA led coups, separatist movements and/or color revolutions… the security state is rather stifling and civil rights are cast aside.

6 Poor soft power projection since the arts where largely abandoned by society with the Dengist government. They lack “anime”, or “Kpop” to push their narrative into the world. Lately the CPC has been promoting more domestically produced movies but they really need to step up their game.

7 Their LGBTQ+ rights are garbage, and honestly it’s inexcusable.

To think Ukraine could’ve walked out of this with nothing more than a bloody nose and a bruised ego. At this point Russia has no incentive to stop, they’ve mitigated the sanctions, found states willing to buy their oil and gas and learned to produce weapons of war without importing parts… militarily they’re winning and it’s unlikely Ukraine can reasonably expect to fight much longer without a total adult male conscription (like the Nazis did once the USSR breached Germany’s borders) and even then, it would destroy their population in exchange for buying time, not a victory.

They went all in on the West, and I think just now they’re beginning to realize that they got duped.

This makes me think that Ukraine must be totally winning this war now! Heavily arming straight up nazis as well as the ”””””””””””””””” homeland of the Jewish people”””””””””””””””” is bliss.

Biden is demanding results before election time, wouldn’t be surprised if they brought the conscription age down to 18. I imagine by the time the US allows them to surrender, Ukraine is going to look more devastated than Paraguay after the War of the Triple Alliance.

For fighting in war? Ancient. I’m around that age and I work out 6 days a week and even then sometimes I feel my body being heavy when I’m forced to do something uncomfortable. I can’t imagine eating 3 meals a day from a can, sleeping in a sleeping bag with a rifle on my chest and shitting in a bucket…

For what, exactly?

[–] RedColossus@lemmygrad.ml 17 points 5 months ago

It begins, Cuba is has long expressed sadness that ever since Soviet leaders had cut off their access to modern weapons of war, that they could no longer help fight in nations that need military help with revolution since their assistance in Algeria and Mozambique.
