Ubisoft might have to get used to not owning high value stock, if they keep pushing through anti-consumer bullshit in their games.

Note you may want to check your versions and avoid updating in case they patch out debug or bypass functionalities. I vaguely remember concerns about that on some models.

Yeah media outlets need to start saying "Conservatives bring up this week's false outrage, moral panic and pearl clutching"

I consider BlueSky a "Musk-Free" Twitter for most intents and purposes... At least the protocol is a little more transparent and BridgyFed is an effort to make them interoperable.

Steam is in a rightly deserved position of good reputation.

I am amazed that they have not entered the "squeeze every dollar out of the good reputation and brand we built" phase that so many companies have gone through in the past decade. I hope Newell can keep it this way for a long time.

What a goofy idea...

A rapid transit line would take so many more cars off the road. The 401/DVP/427/Lakeshore needs a separated lane circular BRT which would be orders of magnitude lower cost and better for traffic relief. Even a giant bridge above all the highways running skytrain would cost less than a 60km tunnel.

If someone came unannounced to my home identifying themselves as the Head of Human Resources, checking in on my sick leave... I'd probably sneeze or have a giant coughing fit right in their face.

"If there's anything you need" -- bud, I need to be left alone to recover.

Updates uninstalled, all available permissions turned off, auto-update turned off for Galaxy Store. That app has done nothing but get in my way. Thanks for the reminder, Samsung.

You know, I'm something of a galaxy-class expert astrologist myself.

Link is a 1h42m video interview between Louis Rossmann, FUTO and Immich developers with a introduction to Immich by Louis.

Immich is an open source self-hosted in-development tool to manage image libraries from a central server, and sync/distribute them across your devices, as an alternative to Google Photos. Also see: https://immich.app

The important news here is that FUTO has funded full time development on Immich for 3 years.

Principal Skinner is voiced with Superintendent Chalmers' lines and vice versa.

Please spread the word to your Canadian friends and family who take interest in games, and please add your name to it to support this campaign to help preserve games in some form in perpetuity.

In 1974, Ivan Illich wrote that the typical American male spent 25% of his waking life either driving a car or working for the income required to pay for one. 50 years later, is this true? And, which cities consume the most -- and least -- of our time with driving?
