This is absolute nonsense. Getting windows up and running is stupid easy.

The only wireless keyboard I can understand is something like the Corsair k63 with the lapboard attachment. I've got one with my second PC connected to my TV. It's really pretty great!

I'm a registered nurse and came over from years of Sync Pro. Currently using Connect and I quite like it.

Edit: though not in a technology centered career, technology is very integral to what I do.

I have also been into computers and technology for a long time.

I feel sorry for men who have to wear pants in c/showerthoughts@lemmy.world

Truly, pants can be very comfortable. Women's pants are generally not ~~good~~ functional though, if for nothing else the lack of pockets.

The same is true for nurses. There is no shortage of nurses. Only a shortage of nurses willing to deal with shit staffing and pay.

Probably more stupid than most questions here, but Lemmy seems to have a learning curve. I'm using Connect to access the fediverse.

I've tried using the upload icon (next to the URL field) to upload a photo from my phone, but it remains blank after I try to select a photo.

Do I need to use an external hosting service like imgur? That method has always been clunky to the point that I just never used it in the earlier days of reddit.

I was on Reddit for 13 years. I've been using sync for as long as I knew there was a mobile app. Lemmy seems really relaxed and I'm looking forward to it!
