Bloober said Piotr's actual words were: "The Steam version has generated considerable interest, and we believe that, in addition to PlayStation (for which the game was initially announced), the Steam version will also be a success. Both we and Konami are pleased with the collaboration and are confident that this is not the end of our journey together."

"That's not what we said! What we actually said was [AI generated PR statement]."

Yeah nah, this is 100% trying to save face for Konami. Not that I really care much either way coming from Bloober Team, but still.

He's definitely got OP magic abilities. And a huge harem. Its a romcom under the pretenses of a fantasy adventure, 100%.

Big shock. This game has had a lot of red flags, and not the good kind one would expect from a Japanese themed game. Everything about this game from the marketing to the merchandising has been bad at best, and outright offensive/borderline racist at worst.

People have been dreaming of a Japan based AC game since the first one. Ubisoft could not have picked a worse game to mess up this badly than this one.

I do not believe you Yves. You say you are committed to making games everyone want to enjoy, but your last like 4 games have released to awful sales because basically nobody wanted to play them. If you were committed to making games everyone wanted to enjoy then your sales would not be garbage. Your words and your data do not match. I mean, you literally just said Ubisoft remains committed to the GaaS model for games, thats pretty much the opposite of being player committed.

Lemmy will say nobody is going to return to Unity, but theyre pretty FOSS biased.

I am getting kinda sick of constantly not being able to post comments on seemingly random posts due to this error.

The instance is English, the post title is English, and my comment is in English. I have even logged into my instance website to change the language settings to have both "Undetermined" and "English" selected, and that still doesn't work. Not all posts have this problem, and not even posts in just one community or instance. Seems like the error is completely random.

I have to imagine this is an error specific to Connect for Lemmy, since I don't get the same error if I comment from my web browser. It seems to come from Connect for Lemmy not having an option to set the comment language when posting? Can that be corrected please?
