Windows 7 with Aero Glass, in my opinion, was the last version of windows that actually felt warm and comfortable to use. 8, 10 and 11 all feel so cold, sterile and boring. in c/nostalgia@lemmy.ca

For me it's the reverse. Windows 2000, for me, was the best looking windows to date. Windows vista, XP, and indeed aero felt child like, non-serious, unprofessional.

I have a gay son and a trans nephew. I can tell you right now: This family will not be visiting ~~California~~ Florida anytime soon.

The fun part is, while looking for vacations abroad, ~~California~~ Florida and a lot of the USA is now in the same corner as Iran, China, a lot of Africa, etc, etc. places that are not open minded about such things.

When will ~~California~~ Florida show it's true colors again? Or is this it?

I can go on and on. I love the tech, I hate the companies. Plus: the build quality just does not seem to be existent in this space.
