You can already buy those. They seem to commonly be referred to in online stores as ‘pocket wifi’. Just stick a sim card in them and you can manage their settings through any connected device with a web browser.

If you have root you may want to use something called ACC (Advanced Charging Controller). You can use its official app, ACCA, to install it. Very customizable.

Besides the other points already brought up regarding this, 2 hours is just too short. Games like this often have long startup times, long intros, etc... and it’s just not enough to get a good impression of the game. At least with demos you get a good vertical slice preview of what you’re getting into.
