Not like I’m an expert on the topic lol. But I happened to watch a Nebula video series on Helion’s approach from Real Engineering and I really hope they manage to crack the efficiency barrier. The idea of truck container sized reactor that makes it’s own fuel and produces energy directly from electromagnetic impulses (not from heat via turbines) is almost too good to be true.

TLDR: tokamak type reactor, produced a lot of energy (69 megajujes - nice!) but still net negative.

Wise is great for virtual accounts, prepaid debit card (physical and virtual) and international transfers. Virtual cards can be created for each service/payment and deleted when you need, also used with Apple Pay, etc. You can create “accounts” in any currency with bank account info to receive bank transfers or set up direct debits. I use it for over a decade personally, then their business account for 3 years to accept payments in foreign currency and I’m happy with it.

Similarly in Hungary there is a term “dental tourism” because they sell packages with spa resorts so the family can enjoy a holiday while the patient has a full dental transplant put in while in anaesthesia.

Well comparing Q to the swastika maybe reasonable on the basis on both of their background ideas being deranged to a similar degree, but the Q movement’s historical insignificance is just laughable in comparison.

Blacklisting the letter Q because of a handful of dipshits that most of the world doesn’t even know about is preposterous.

No dude, you are just flooded with too much US tabloid politics.

Erin Schmidt is the one who turned Google into the shitty company that had to remove their “Don’t be evil” policy.

I remember when this scandal came out: https://www.wired.com/2012/05/google-wifi-fcc-investigation/

I watched the press event when Larry Page (obviously not knowing what was going on) promised that they will immediately delete all the sniffed data, then Eric came, took the mic and corrected: “We will delete the data once we receive the court order that forces us to do”.

This was a major disappointment for me after the brilliant Martian and The Egg. I just can’t stand the writing style that’s like someone is describing what happens on a movie screen (Harry Potter is the same). While the tech and the alien were good ideas, almost every single action is predictable like a movie that’s stitched together from cliches until the very end that had a good twist.

I’m somewhat familiar with the case as I follow an ex-scientologist dude on yt (youtube.com/@GrowingUpInScientology) who was present in the court and reported on all nuances. According to him, Kutcher knew about Masterson’s drugging raping habit, also personally knew one of the women named in the case that prosecuted him (she was also present when Kutcher, upon finding her murdered girlfriend, instead calling 911, called his agent and Masterson).

Said letter’s general purpose to the judge is to ask for a lighter sentence in light of the jury decision, and they try to make him look like the nicest person ever walked on earth, always respecting woman and against all drugs that quasi questions the sentence as is. They deserve the backlash.

I’m ashamed to report the same.
