I found this just popping out of the ground off a hiking trail in Connecticut. What do you think? Is this a small king bolete?

Fedora KDE feels like the perfect blend of customization and stability for me. Oh, and the packages are up to date. I have been on Linux since the early 2000's and finally stopped distrohoping with Fedora about 1 year ago.
First, I am not an ENT doctor.
If it is one sided with no other symptoms you will most likely be ok waiting until morning. If you have other symptoms such as head ache, disorientation, slurred speach, pain in the ear or fever I would not wait. I would go to the ER now.
