They fly him around the country, but the media outfit he's working for didn't bother to invest in media training for their homicidal poster boy?

So much for standing your ground.

To spell out the point here - healthcare isn't the point of the healthcare industry under capitalism - profit is. Any healthcare delivered is going to be the bare minimum required to separate you from your money.

I'm impressed by pretty much everything I see from Offerman, and his role in TLOU was fantastic. It had real impact, and didn't feel at all like the lazy tokenistic drivel that's become Disney's standard fare.

Is this a case of "if you call us genocidal, we'll kill you too"?

I guess Israel were too busy genociding Palestinians to make it to the meeting.

Those scheming betrayers also left Australia out of the transport plan for EU members.

How much lead paint do you need to eat to see the loaded language in these headlines and think "yeah - seems legit."

What happened to "nothing to fear, nothing to hide"?

Rhetorical question: antitrust when?

They are dominant in search, ads, browser, mobile hardware, mobile os, mapping, and email. They're using their dominance to corece users, and are just getting away with it. The influence they have over the Internet is second to none, and it shows they've dropped the whole "don't be evil" thing.

I mean condemnation is a great start, but Israel isn't going to stop killing Palestinians until they're stopped, or there's no Palestinians left to kill.

Their rhetoric has made it clear that killing civilians isn't an unfortunate consequence of stopping Hamas - it's the objective, and they propped up Hamas over the PLO to create the pretext for this.

It was a Hamas ambulance... The dozen kids at killed in the area? Hamas. The hospitals we bombed? Believe it or not, Hamas. We're the victims here - look at the number of ~~Palestinian kids~~ Hamas combatants we've been forced to kill in ~~a transparently genocidal land-grab~~ self-defence.

-Israel ~~probably~~.

Watch them cry foul, threaten to pull out, start a legal fight, then go nowhere like the abusive type they are.

Where I'm from, the median house price has risen 600% relative to median income since the 70's.

That means that we're dropping more than the entire value of their home as our deposit, while we compete against capital-heavy boomers that benefited from that growth looking to downsize.

There's a reason they could have a house and 12 kids on a single summer job income - they were handed a strong economy that they ransacked for their own benefit before blaming the poor schmucks that are inhereting the stripped wreckage they've left behind. Couple that with the cost of the massive environmental pivot we'll need to make to survive as a species, and I'm sure you'll forgive me for wanting to drive the nose of the next boomer that preaches about smashed avocado toast and bootstraps through the back of their skull.
