I love seeing them climb down trees head first. First time I saw this I was like "wait a second there HEAD FIRST?!" I knew about short-toed treecreepers abilities as very good climbers but European nuthatches are next level.

Carduelis Carduelis, one of my favorite birds. They sing amazingly (plus they're cute). My mother doesn't use her lawnmower too much or at least leaves some areas untouched, so it's not rare to spot those birds. I've seen up to 20+ at the same spot, eating on the ground or relaxing in apple trees.

It's not a total ban of VPNs, I went to read a bit on the subject (easier since I'm french), it's just that some politicians came up with a few amendments relative to the bill called "SREN" which very literally translates to "Securing and regulating the digital space". As you may guess that bill also ticks the "child porn" box as a reason why it came to existence.

One amendment proposes to ban mobile VPNs that do no comply with European or french regulations in the context of app stores. So it's only on mobile, nothing about desktops.

Of course it's inapplicable in practice.

Several amendements already failed due to backlash, one was about preventing people from posting on social networks if they use a VPN.

I just used fastboot to get the locking ability, the result was 1 so it could be locked, I did and it went ok. No problem since.

I was using Calyx and went to Divest with relative ease, atlhough I did pay attention to the security patch level before jumping, having to send the phone to fairphone would be really annoying.

Just be careful if you test several android roms, the phone uses anti rollback (ARB), like pixel phones. In certain circumstances it's possible to brick the phone, and you'll have to send it to fairphone.

With android roms that allow relocking the fairphone bootloader (Calyx and Divest for instance), really check if the bootloader can be relocked via fastboot command-line, it will brick if it's not the case.

I spent some time reading before attempting anything on it and it went rather smoothly, I don't hop a lot between roms though.

Seems to work with 1.0.65, I just tested it, frontpage is still the default after an app restart.
