Perhaps, but @TheBat is not wrong. Those people aren't thinking too hard about the futures of the children they're choosing to have.

Unless they are, and have somehow concluded that the kids will be fine. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ I'd love to know how they arrived at such a conclusion, though, because humanity is looking pretty doomed right now.

@DaddleDew

Problem: sometimes I need to fart.

No idea. I've never had dogs. Wouldn't know the first thing about caring for them.

@TachyonTele

They can't get pregnant if they're spayed. They can be made resistant to fleas and ticks. And how are they going to fight stray cats, when they're not in a stray cat's territory?

Indeed, but the old tankie instances still exist, same as always. The centrists went elsewhere, to non-tankie instances that were set up for them.

Colonization involves taking somebody else's land, but this is more like creating more land out of thin air and settling there.

@Waraugh

Keeping cats indoors 24/7 is not healthy for them.

🀣🀣 I didn't even notice that! But yeah, my landlord would definitely not let me have cows. 🀣

@alcoholicorn

Sisko intentionally bombed an entire planet into uninhabitability. He's no stranger to war crimes.

@Anticorp

I have actually *lost* a debate with myself before.

It was quite embarrassing.

I'm also not entirely sure how that was even possible.

@ProdigalFrog

Wolves are pack animals, and treat other members of their pack as equals. It's really not that surprising that an offshoot of their species was domesticated.

Also, dogs are actually kinda unique in how changeable they are. I don't know of any other species with such drastic variations in size, coloring, and behavior.

@Emerald

There's only so much you can do with infrastructure to make up for the fact that most people want (for multiple good reasons) to live in suburbs.

IMHO we also need to clamp down HARD on landlords/HOAs. A big part of the reason I don't want to live in an apartment/condo is that there's a long list of rules I have to strictly obey. No political signs, no letting my cats outside, no string lights outside of Christmas season… Ridiculous.

I'm sure that Gish gallop would make Vance proud, but you'll have to do better than that if you want to fool me.

You'll also need another account, because that one is blocked. Good day.
