Did this reply contribute anything meaningful to the discussion?
I didn't, and you're right about people needing to step up. I'll try to do so on my end :)
This post wasn't a request to defederate Beehaw btw. I just wanted to discuss ways we can deal with some of the negatives of federation.
I'm sure you Swifties are lovely people :')
I don't think this is a moderation issue and I'll give you an example to highlight why. Someone recently posted to the gaming community asking for advice on a something very basic but easily overlooked. The highest rated comments were basically mocking the poster. Not direct insults or anything ban-worthy but they were unhelpful. I don't think that's the type of engagement that people who signed up for this instance would like to see here.
What country is that????
I remember buying War For Cybertron for the PS3 off of a 9/10 review on IGN. This was back when I could only afford to get one or two games a year so it's mediocrity stung so bad. Was one of my first experiences with buyer's remorse.
Boooooo. That pun somehow managed to make me sterile.
How about creating a separate sub for that kind of content? It worked well for Reddit. They have r/games for discussion and r/gaming for memes and shitposts.
It's been a year since I finished this game and I've thought about it every single week since then.
Judging by their username this person seems to be a troll.
Hey hey, I'm bijuice.

I've been here for about a week now and I'm loving it so far. Y'all are so nice :)
I feel you on the after-work blues. For me, it pushes me towards arcadey games cause I don't have the energy to invest in a good story.
They might have sold it to a competitor so this could be a big deal. Not to mention this was one of Billet Lab's only prototype and could've set them back months in terms of R&D.
