i had a super stable provider for years that was shutdown by the fed and have been itching to find another US-based provider. hoping this new directory helps accomplish that!

found this great bookmarklet for downloading DRM'd books from the internet archive in high quality. did not work in edge, but worked great in chrome!

zoot's suggestion is probably the simplest, but if you're feeling adventurous you could get a raspberry pi and setup a pi-hole server to intercept your internet traffic and redirect ad requests to a null domain

i miss techtv every single day. found a trove of old screen savers episodes i put in a youtube playlist that i sometimes watch to scratch the itch. what a magical time to be alive

i really enjoyed adventures in the magic kingdom for this very reason. main map was top down, but there was also a first person flight simulation level, an overhead minecart racing puzzle, a car racing game, a sides rolling level, and plenty of quizzes throughout

i do own a steam deck and can say with certainty that, after seeing how well it's handled every game i've thrown at it, i will be switching my primary pc to linux once support for win10 ends
