You’re completely right. Looks interesting and fun and the chaos of escape while bumping into each other sounds fun.

But maybe they add it later.

"Knowing that we wanted to give our thanks to the Xbox community that has shown us love from day 1, we really thought about the kinds of things we would want to see as fans of Cuphead. The goal was to make this update feel like a real peek behind the scenes at what went into bringing the game to life, across all parts of development."

Nothing against the devs here, but it is really not the gamers fault that it was only available on Xbox and not on PS and Switch. I wanted to “support” this game from day 1, but I couldn’t, since it was Xbox exclusive…

Imho, if you release a game on a platform, you should release the full game and not only parts of it.

But maybe this was also part of their xbox deal, idk.

I assume you are playing on PC, as I can’t justify an extensive PC upgrade right now, I’m stuck on my PS5 - but I’ve also heard good things about the console.

I really enjoy the app so far, so thank you for your work!

The markdown option are really something else here - makes things so much easier. I do like to quote a lot in my posts, so copying parts of the comment I’m replying to would be really great! I really don’t know how hard or easy this is to implement…

Keep up the good work and have a nice day!

Bonus suggestion: are multicommunities (akin to multireddits) on the horizon?

I played it even one day earlier on PS5… and the experience really wasn’t that great tbh, and than I had a game breaking bug on top of that as well.

I decided to just wait for the DLC and the big patch… we’ll, this took 3 years haha

From what I’ve heard, the new 2.0 update and DLC are really great! So I really hope I can finally play it now haha.

I’ve also heard good things about the performance and bugs!

Did you play the new DLC?

My many problem where honestly the bugs (had a game breaking one and I just saved…) and the performance…

it's still not the game they marketed but it's unlikely it ever would be.

I agree! It was just way too much and too big… even with their development time, I mean look how long GTA6 takes.

Dare I say it… did they really turned around the ship? I waited since the launch to finally finish playing it (or in this case, start a new game).

Exactly! It all looks good on paper, but I’m definitely waiting for reviews. Fool me once…

Yep, expert difficulty in the original game is not enough; the Al is capped at 432 km/h at expert. The new game is like playing at master difficulty.

Ah this explains a lot, thanks! I already played a bit of the OG F-Zero… and now I even wish more for a new one.

That's okay then, it took me quite some while for my first win, I think it was B+ or A-. So don't worry.

Good to know, I thought I was missing something :)

Regarding power management: Did you finish Port Town I in practice mode under the time limit for the achievement? You need to use boosts where you normally wouldn't (well aside directly from the start).

I wasn’t aware… I will try this later!

And regarding the pack: I drive as if they weren't there (while using spin attack), meaning I drive my optimal racing line and I often can clear the pack in difficulty corners fast. Well except Mute City.

Haha, this is easier said than done, but I think my racing line is (obviously) not as great as I thought.

I also vote for a consolidation of the two. As others have mentioned, we are unfortunately not that big (yet) and therefore one big community with everything related to playstation would be a good thing.

I really love the Fediverse, but one weakness is for sure the splintering of communities in many small very specific ones, where none of them get many traffic.

Also thank you for you work!

I already sold my physical copy and I really don’t regret it at all.

My group of friends and I where really excited and played through the story together, but the endgame just wasn’t fun. I don’t know what exactly it was, but we kinda stoped playing.

The new season and “patches” didn’t really improve it a lot imho… a shame, really!
